The Deer Springs Fire Safe Council is sponsoring a Microchip Clinic for large animals (no pets). The clinic is part of the Fire Council’s Large Animal Emergency Evacuation planning. It is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, from 9 a.m. until noon.
Reservations are required so that sufficient chips can be ordered. The cost per animal is $40. Owners will also be able to have the veterinarian administer vaccines. Daniel Grove D.V.M, of Creekside Veterinary Service, will be the participating veterinarian. The clinic will be held at Creekside, at 8647 Indian Hill Rd, Escondido.
