Village Rotary hears about fire safety

Fallbrook Village Rotary President Paul Leehey presents a “thank you” gift to ecological scientist Spring Strahn at the Rotary’s June meeting. Strahn described the new generation of forest fire detectors, remote, solar-powered cameras placed in strategic locations around Southern California. They are designed to replace the old “Fire Watcher” program, eliminated by budget cuts.
