Featherstone named Avo League Player of the Year

Fallbrook High School senior Colin Featherstone was named the Avocado League’s Player of the Year for boys golf.

The Player of the Year honors also secured a berth for Featherstone on the league’s first team, and Warrior junior Stan Bednarski was selected to the league’s second team.

Featherstone won the North County Conference tournament and also had an average of 37.5 strokes per nine holes in league matches. “He deserved to be the Player of the Year.
