Guac Girls 3-1-1 in Cal Cup

The Guac Girls comprised of Fallbrook High School field hockey players finished with a 3-1-1 record at the Cal Cup May 26-28 at Moorpark Community College.

“We did fine,” said Guac Girls coach Kathy Waite. “I was just very pleased.”

High school field hockey teams cannot officially represent their schools outside of the CIF season, and without the ability to call themselves the Warriors the team adopted the name Guac Girls. The Cal Cup is often a chance for Waite, who is also the high school varsity field hockey coach, to assess her team for the upcoming fall season.
