FALLBROOK — During an evening ceremony held May 31 at the Grand Tradition, the San Luis Rey Chapter of National Charity League (NCL) honored 14 local young women for their community service. All were 2007 graduates of Fallbrook High School.
Guests were greeted by NCL President Pat Walker. Emcee for the event was Fallbrook High School Assistant Principal Nicole Miller. Each young woman was individually recognized for her hours of community service. In addition, two special awards were presented. The Senior Service Award for the most hours accrued by a Senior Ticktocker went to Alisa Kempf, with 825 hours. The Spirit of NCL Award, given to the senior who most emulates the ideals of NCL, was awarded to Elizabeth Peterson.
The following young women were recognized that evening: Emily Armstrong, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Armstrong; Kathryn Bosch, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Philip Bosch; Alyssa Cyran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cyran; Hannah Haskell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Haskell; Kendra Jorde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Jorde; Alisa Kempf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kempf; Lauren Moosa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Moosa; Elizabeth Peterson, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Peterson; Hillary Price, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Price; Lauren Rodriguez, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rodriguez; Kari Van den Eikhof, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Van den Eikhof; Carly Van Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Van Horn; April Ventuleth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ventuleth; and Andrea Warren, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Warren.
