Bush legacy reaches also into Fallbrook

Two US financial proposals are in the news this week. First, the $40 billion-plus armament package for Middle Eastern nations: $20 billion for Saudi Arabia, $13 billion for Egypt and a 25-percent increase in military aid to Israel. The other proposal is the continued funding of the State Child Health Care Program (SCHIP) for America’s children. Which does Bush support, and which does he oppose?

Illogically, Bush is pressing hard for the Middle Eastern armament package and renouncing the children’s healthcare plan.
