FALLBROOK — A new Web site containing information and updates about Meadowood, a master-planned community proposed by Pardee Homes east of Interstate 15 and north of State Route 76/Pala Road, has been launched and is now available for public access. The site can be found at http://www.meadowoodcommunity.com.
“As we move forward with the approval process for Meadowood, we want the public and decision-makers to have a source of accurate, regularly updated information about the project,” said Jimmy Ayala, Director of Community Development for Pardee Homes. “Visitors to the site will find a variety of information about Meadowood and Pardee Homes. Through the Web site, the public will be able to sign up for e-mail updates on the project and submit comments or questions.”
Pardee submitted the first draft of its Meadowood plan to the county in 2004 and subsequently met with and received input from county planners, community groups and the Fallbrook Community Planning Group. Based on those discussions and the company’s internal deliberations, the plan was revised and recently resubmitted to the county. The changes include a reduction in the number of homes in Meadowood and in the project’s overall density, or homes per acre, which now stands at 2.3.
The approval process will culminate with a public hearing before the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
