FALLBROOK — For the first time in over a year, Brother’s Bistro has added some new and exciting offerings to its five-page menu. The new additions are available for appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts.
According to Dee Nusser, executive chef and co-owner of Brother’s Bistro, “Ron, myself and our head chef, Mr. Bazan, have spent the last two months with our heads together, exploring what else we could offer our customers. We wanted to add at least three new offerings but ended up adding eleven!”
One of the new menu additions is Frutti Di Mare (Fruit of the Sea) with Linguine. “This is one of my all-time favorite dishes,” said Nusser. “I think I have tasted this dish in every restaurant that served it from San Francisco to Hawaii and back to San Diego. Ours is made with Jumbo Shrimp, Jumbo Diver Scallops and Carlsbad Black Mussels. We make our own Marinara Sauce and add a little zip with red pepper flakes.”
Another new dinner entrée is Roasted Mediterranean Halibut. The Halibut is roasted with garlic and served with olives, capers, Roma tomatoes and fresh basil. Brother’s Bistro serves both sautéed spinach and their savory rice pilaf with the entrée.
Another exciting addition for those with a sweet tooth is Apple Tiramisu. “I love this dessert,” said Nusser. “It’s so light and airy, and not overly sweet.”
Brother’s Bistro, located in the Major Market shopping center, is open seven days a week and provides dine-in, to-go, delivery and catering services. Call (760) 731-9761 for more information.
