Jamieson Glenn Koyl, 84, died peacefully in his sleep after a prolonged illness, on August 7, 2007, in a residential care center near his home in Pittsburg, CA.
Glenn was born in East Palestine, OH, May 31, 1923. He served in the US Navy during WWII in both the South Atlantic and South Pacific areas. He worked with the Red Cross as a safety director, and as a swimming and boating instructor. After his marriage to Jackie Schroeder, he returned to college and earned a teaching credential.
