Beulah Lorraine Schroeder-Watton, 85, went home to be with her heavenly father on November 29, 2007. She passed away peacefully at Fallbrook Hospital with her family nearby.
She was born July 15, 1922, in a lumber camp in the hills of Michigan. When she was 17, she traveled along Route 66, destined for California. She married Dr. Robert Schroeder in Los Angeles and moved to San Diego in 1952, where she raised her family and lived out her life. Beulah was an avid cook and loved to have a house full of friends and family to feed.
Beulah is survived by daughter Roberta Nurmi, Fallbrook; son Martin Schroeder, Oceanside; grandchildren Amy Haddad, Becky Seible, Robert Schroeder and Tami Davis; and three great grandchildren.
She was a ray of sunshine who encouraged and uplifted everyone around her. She enjoyed taking care of others and was truly a selfless person.
She will be deeply missed by all of those who knew her.
