The Lenten Season is the 40-day period of repentance and renewal which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends with Easter morning.
Lent is a special time for meditation, prayer and penitential practices. There is an increased understanding of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection, renewal of baptismal vows and recommitment to the Christian life.
At Christ The King, there is one more Lenten Service before Holy Week worship begins. All are invited to join them on Wednesday, March 5, for Soup Supper at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a presentation at 7 p.m. of “Christ in the Feast of Tabernacles” by Jews for Jesus.
