Parents of twins to support March of Dimes walk

Justin and Shaelene Wooten of Fallbrook, the parents of twin sons Ethan Marcus Wooten and Christopher Stevens Wooten, born 10 weeks premature on January 9, will participate in the March of Dimes walk scheduled for April 19 at 9 a.m. at Cannon Park in Carlsbad.

When born, the Wooten twins weighed only 3 lbs. 9 oz. and 4 lbs, 3 oz. They have spent more than five weeks in the hospital in NICU.

“Without the modern technology, medications and research that has been made available through March of Dimes, our boys wouldn’t have been so fortunate,” said the couple.

‘Team Wooten’ will walk not only for the twins but for every baby who needs a little bit of extra help when born.
