Kiwanis Club inducts new member

FALLBROOK — At the Kiwanis Club’s Un-Christmas Party held at the Lace Apron on January 31, Dixie Blanton was inducted as a new member.

Blanton is an English teacher at Potter Junior High. She is also advisor of the school’s Builder’s Club, a Kiwanis-sponsored organization that builds leadership skills and teaches community service.

Blanton has lived in Fallbrook most of her life and loves working with kids. She is the proud mother of a son and daughter and looks forward to becoming more involved within the community through youth service.
