Medals of honor

Proudly displaying their medals after the Potter Junior High Spelling Bee, held Tuesday, February 12, is first place winner Angelica Philburn (center), flanked by second place winner Connor McClelland (right) and third place winner Katrina Gaines. All three students are in the seventh grade. Philburn will move on to the county competition. The winners also received gift certificates to La Caseta Mexican Restaurant donated by Ross Curtis of Allstate Insurance.
