Sommers to be featured artist in March

FALLBROOK — Robert Sommers, owner of Blue Heron Gallery, will be featured during the month of March at Brandon Gallery, 105 North Main.

A special reception will be held Saturday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome at no charge.

Sommers, who has been a Fallbrook resident for 28 years and has owned his own gallery since 1995, has always been an artist. Beginning as a painter and an architecture major in college, he eventually had to quit painting due to ill health, which was partially caused by the chemicals in the paint.
