Fallbrook Library will be offering more “Basic Library Computer Skills” classes next month.
The tutoring sessions will now be held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. at 124 South Mission Road. The classes are free but signups are required in advance.
The purpose of these classes is to help the library user feel more familiar with services the Fallbrook branch offers through the use of electronic media.
Training is offered to assist library patrons to learn to log on to the Internet at the library, how to use basic searching techniques to find information on the Internet and how to set up a free e-mail account.
Library customers can also ask for help learning to use the 32 databases the San Diego County Library system provides.
The classes are kept small and the focus of each tutoring session is on whatever library computer skill the customer needs help with.
To sign up, call Fallbrook Library at (760) 728-2373.
