One-third of deputies new to Fallbrook

The year 2008 has brought a lot of new faces to the Fallbrook law enforcement front.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Theresa Adams-Hydar says approximately one-third of the deputy force is comprised of officers newly assigned to the beat. In addition, three of the four patrol sergeants under Adams-Hydar are new promotions.

“I think this is a good thing for Fallbrook,” Adams-Hydar said. “They are tremendously motivated and bring with them some new solutions to address Fallbrook crime.”

Adams-Hydar said Fallbrook’s growing population equates into a greater need for law enforcement just due to the numbers.
