Knights of Columbus sponsoring Free Throw Championship

It’s time again for Fallbrook’s Council of the Knights of Columbus, Council 7069, to hold their annual Free Throw Championship.

The event is for boys and girls ranging in age from 10 to 14. The Council sponsors this event in order to encourage youth in physical activity.

At this event, the children learn both technique and enjoyment of sport.

During the month, participating councils throughout the country will sponsor the event. Upon completion, each council awards one boy and one girl from each age category with both a trophy and a certificate. The winners can then advance to the district lev...
