FALLBROOK — Brandon Gallery has announced that Robert Sommers, owner of Blue Heron Gallery, will have an exhibition of his photographs in Brandon’s Etcetera Gallery March 8-31. His exhibition is entitled “Altered View.”
A special reception will be held with the artist on Saturday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and the public is welcome at no charge.
Sommers, a Fallbrook resident for the past 28 years and owner of his own gallery since 1995, has always been an artist. In addition to photography, his background includes painting and architecture.
Celebrated watercolorist Phyllis Doyon will also be featured at Brandon Gallery in March. Doyon owns Doyon Studio and Gallery in Camarillo and is a prolific artist whose mediums also include acrylic, monoprints, linocuts, etching and collages. She is the recipient of many awards, and has had 40 solo exhibitions.
