Unique math class offered to students

FALLBROOK — Credentialed teacher Don Miller will offer a unique class at the Community Center for children ages 5 to 14.

“Locking in the Critical Basics of Math” builds essential foundations of math which enable students to excel. Individual testing is given to pinpoint a child’s strengths and weaknesses and cutting-edge math systems are used to build a strong working knowledge of the secrets of effective math ability.

Addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions and decimals, the foundations of algebra and other necessaries are addressed depending upon each child’s abilities. Beginning-level students will be taught the secrets of speed-calculating addition, subtraction and the beginnings of multiplication.

Class meets on Mondays from 3:30 to 5 p.m. March 10-31. Register in advance by calling (760) 728-1671 or visiting Fallbrook Community Center at 341 Heald Lane.
