Third Fallbrook Winery Cup matches underway

FALLBROOK — The third annual Fallbrook Winery Cup matches began at Fallbrook Golf Club on Tuesday, March 4.

This year three teams will compete for the cup. Pala Mesa, San Luis Rey and Fallbrook Golf Club will contest in a modified Stableford match at each of the courses.

Pala Mesa won the first match with a score of 305. There were many fine individual scores.

• Dutcher: 30

• Rogers: 34

• McLaughlin: 41

• Selsor: 43

• Colvin: 44

• Munoz: 37

The next match will be on April 1 at San Luis Rey. (No fooling.)
