FALLBROOK — Learn from experts in the industry how to rebuild green and 100 percent energy non-reliant at the “Rising from the Ashes” Solar & Green Building Summit of Fallbrook on April 23 at 7 p.m. at the Fallbrook Public Utility District board room at 990 East Mission Road.
Guest speakers will include Rick White, president of California Solar, who has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, and Shaun Dentice, representative of San Diego Gas & Electric, who is in charge of the incentive and rebate program for the county.
Learn how to never pay an energy bill again, how to install solar equipment without any expense, how to fireproof your existing home and much more.
This event is being organized by Kenneth Rexrode, who lost a home in the recent Rice Fire and hopes to help inspire others in the rebuilding process.
“In my own personal journey to rebuild I have realized lots of companies that are really willing to help people rebuild their homes and lives,” said Rexrode. “Being that I am in real estate and construction really has helped me personally, but I know many others have struggled with the process.”
In addition, Rexrode said he will have a representative from the nonprofit Electric & Gas Industries Association on hand to discuss some very specialized solar financing options that can make solar a reality to not only fire victims but also to the general public.
“I also will have several green building vendors in attendance with their products being displayed throughout the evening,” Rexrode said.
