Author of books on colleges here May 10

FALLBROOK- Fallbrook resident Fred Rugg, the author of Rugg’s Recommendations on the Colleges (now in its 25th edition), will speak at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane, on Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to noon. Rugg will address high school sophomores, juniors, and their parents on the college selection process and provide suggestions on how to pay for college.

Rugg’s talk will be structured to help with such topics as: colleges well-known for a particular area of study/major; what universities offer an excellent college environment/community; and how to select a college that is compatible for a particular type of student.

The presentation is free and open to the public.
