Celebrating becoming fluent in English

Sixth grade student Eloisa Vargas and her mother, Mrs. Vargas, attend the Reclassification Luncheon held April 18. The Principal Lillian Perez and Assistant Principal Stephanie Martinez served the families pizza and dessert.

A total of 32 students at Live Oak School recently became fluent English speakers and were presented with certificates for their achievement. These students were deemed fluent in English based on teacher recommendation, STAR test results, and the California English Language Development test.
