Gala event will be "Making Dreams Come True"

FALLBROOK- Excitement is building as the Boys and Girls Club of North County prepares for their annual Auction and Dinner Gala to be held Saturday, May 31, at Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook.

Carrying the theme “Making Dreams Come True,” this year’s event, co-chaired by Tracey Moe and Mary Mack, will help support the mission of the organization and maintain its image as “The Positive Place for Kids.” The Boys and Girls Club annual budget is $1.6 million and the organization serves over 1,500 children and their families in the communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Pala. These funds are made available through various fundraisers throughout the year supported by the community.

Title Sponsor of this year’s gala is Arlyne Ingold and the Ingold Family Foundation. In addition, numerous major sponsors and honorary committee sponsors lend their support to the worthy event.

The gala evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Silent Auction featuring over 100 items, including sports memorabilia, beauty services, dinners, art, jewelry, plants, and more. The evening will continue with dining, live music by the Danny D Swing Band, and a live auction. Just a few of the spectacular live auction items include: Major League All-Star package for two at Yankee Stadium with airfare and hotel, Fantasy Vacation anywhere in the world, one week stay in Puerto Vallarta with airfare credit, and a seven-night Carnival cruise.

Tickets for the event are $175 per person. For groups, tables of ten can be purchased. Sponsors and auction items are still being accepted for the event. For more information, or tickets, please call (760) 728-5871.
