CWA approves quitclaim of Bonsall easement

The San Diego County Water Authority approved a quitclaim of the SDCWA’s access road easement on a property in Bonsall.

The June 26 approval by the CWA board authorizes the quitclaim of the road easement to property owners Terry J. Brown and Michael S. Hefner. The property, which is west of the CWA’s Second Aqueduct, is located in the 31400 block of Aqueduct Road.

On June 30, 1961, the CWA entered into an agreement with the property owner at that time for an access roadway. Although no compensation was provided to the property owner, the CWA agreed to maintain the roadway in good condition for...
