25th anniversary Heritage Ball at mission

OCEANSIDE — The public is invited to “Our Heritage is Your Heritage,” the 25th anniversary Heritage Ball at Mission San Luis Rey on Saturday, August 23.

One of the premier events in North San Diego County, this festive evening is a “fun-raiser” allowing the mission to carry on an educational, historical and cultural presence in the greater community while offering guests a most memorable evening.

“Dance under the stars while enjoying a behind-the-scenes visit with friars and friends at this historic landmark,” said Heritage Ball Chairperson Janice Koehler, proprietor of the Outback Steakhouse in Oceanside.

The support of foundations and friends make possible the preservation, conservation and maintenance of the mission.

Mission San Luis Rey depends entirely upon fundraising events, support from patrons and donations and contributions from the community.
