Woman's Club hosts Hot Flashes Follies

FALLBROOK — The Hot Flashes Follies, a senior dance company, performed at the general meeting of the Fallbrook Woman’s Club on October 14.

The entourage of dancers, spanning ages of 60-something to 80-plus, sang and danced to old familiars like “Dancing Fool,” “Singing in the Rain” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie” with a red, white and blue George M. Cohen patriotic finale.

Soloists included “I Won’t Dance” and “Could I Have This Dance?” by Joanie Graff, a Phyllis Diller look-alike by Ann Webster, a “Nutcracker” spoof by LouAnn Sheaffer and award-winning Irish dancer Lou Gullans performing to a...
