FALLBROOK — On October 29 and 30 students in Danni Fieri, Victoria Kaeser and Marianne Polyasco’s fourth through eighth grade classes from the Iowa Street School CORE program produced a Showing Writing Fashion Show.
Students each selected an outfit to wear in the show and described it in detail.
Using action verbs, metaphors, similes and adjectives of every type, the students painted pictures of their outfits with words.
At the show, they twirled, swayed and even waddled on stage accompanied by an oral reading of their fashion show commentary.
The students proved themselves to be talented and prolific writers.
