FGSL opens registration for fifth season

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Girls Softball League (FGSL) is now registering girls between the ages of 5 and 14 for the 2009 season.

All girls are welcome, no experience necessary. New players must provide a copy of their birth certificate.

Registration is available online at http://www.fgsl.net (click on “Registration Form”).

Walk-in registrations will also be held January 17 and 24 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Fallbrook High School varsity softball field (on South Stage Coach Lane next to the district office).

Or, parents may register their daughters during normal business hours at Fallbrook Sports (205 North Main Avenue).

FGSL is proud to sponsor the third annual Softball Skills clinic put on by the Fallbrook High varsity softball coaches and players.

The clinic will take place January 10 at the varsity field from 9:30 a.m. to noon (registration takes place beginning at 8:30).

All proceeds benefit the Fallbrook High softball team. Players should bring lunch and water.
