Grisellda M. Bratcher

Grisellda M. Bratcher, 96, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2009. She was born in rural Michigan on May 25, 1912. A resident of Fallbrook for more than 60 years, Mrs. Bratcher was a teacher at Rainbow Elementary School for some time.

A friend to many, she was active in several charitable organizations, including a Life Member of the American Association of University Women and of the Friends of the Fallbrook Library.

Mrs. Bratcher was preceded in death by her husband, Harley M. Bratcher, in 1988 and her sisters Evelyn and Bess in recent years. She is survived by several nephews and nieces.

At her request, there will be no memorial service. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Friends of the Fallbrook Library.
