Learn how to conserve water

The Mission Resource Conservation District has slated a Water Conservation and Landscape Irrigation Expo for Saturday, January 17.

The event will begin at Beech Street Park (502 South Mission Road) at 9 a.m. where some of the latest irrigation technologies will be demonstrated.

At 10 a.m., representatives from manufacturers of water conserving products such as weather-based irrigation controllers, high-efficiency sprinkler nozzles, synthetic turf and native plant materials will be available for demonstration and discussion at FPUD (990 East Mission Road).
