Betsey Levering, community services director for the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, reports that club member bell ringing efforts during the holidays netted $8,088.37, all of which will be presented to the Salvation Army to aid their cause.
In spite of current economic conditions, the amount is the second best effort ever for the club’s annual support.
For three weekends prior to Christmas, teams manned both doors of the Fallbrook Major Market and Albertsons stores.
