Vivian Banks' students celebrate new store

The students of the Vivian Banks Charter School in Pala, part of the Bonsall Union School District, expressed resounding approval at the opening of their new student store on Tuesday, January 13. Parent Association President Julie Micone said the event is one of many exciting school programs that have been implemented this year as a collaborative effort with new principal Bill Rash and dedicated parent volunteers. Parent volunteer Lisa Trujillo (center) was swamped helping students making their first purchases.
