Register now for basketball league

FALLBROOK — Registration for Fallbrook NJB (National Junior Basketball) will close soon.

This is a recreational youth league for boys and girls in grades one through eight. All experience levels are accepted. Third through eighth grade boys and girls play separately.

The majority of the games are played at Fallbrook High School. There is minimal travel in some divisions, and the first- and second-graders (Rookie League) play at Sullivan Middle School in Bonsall.

Skill evaluations for third through eighth grades are on Sunday, October 18, in the afternoon. The schedule is on the Web site at http://www.fallbrooknjb.com and players can register in person at the evaluations, at Fallbrook Sports in downtown Fallbrook or online any time.

Fallbrook NJB is entering its sixth season. It is a 10-game regular season with a post-season tournament and an opportunity to play on All Star teams.

Team drafts will be done the week of October 20 and teams will begin practicing immediately after. The season opener is on December 4. The season does not interfere with Pop Warner.
