Grocery shoppers, 4H help Fallbrook Food Pantry

Students of Frazier Elementary School load a pickup with food they collected during a two-week holiday food drive for the Fallbrook Food Pantry. Their donations weighed a total of 1,100 lbs.

Many members of the Fallbrook area 4H Common Pride group donated two hours of their time recently to the Fallbrook Food Pantry to sort and box canned goods.

The 4H group packed up approximately 2,300 cans of food for holiday distribution at the pantry. Including in this packing was 1,200 lbs of goods collected at Sullivan Middle School in Bonsall.

Enough money was collected at Albertsons

At Major Market, customers donated enough money for the food pantry to receive 130 turkey vouchers. During Thanksgiving week, the Food Pantry assisted over 600 needy families with food supplies.
