Oceanside beats Fallbrook in cribbage game

FALLBROOK – The Oceanside cribbage team won the last 2009 Senior Challenge Cribbage match on November 19. That was Oceanside’s seventh win to four for the Fallbrook Senior Center team in 2009.

First place in the 38-player event was won by Mike Duffy of Fallbrook with six wins and a skunk. The next three finishers were Tom Waterbury, Dan Hughes and Nicki Newvine, all from Oceanside. Each had five wins with a skunk. In fifth place was Obie Weeks with four wins including three skunks.
