Crib recall includes Fisher-Price products

Of the more than 2 million drop-side cribs being recalled in the United States and Canada following the death of four infants, about 147,000 carry the brand Fisher-Price, a property of El Segundo-based Mattel Inc.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Canadian government agency Health Canada recently issued the voluntary recall in cooperation with British Columbia-based Stork Craft.

The commission said the recall covers more than 1.2 million cribs sold in the United States and 968,000 cribs sold in Canada, with around 147,000 of the recalled cribs branded with the Fisher-Price lo...
