Brandon Gallery showcases FAA artists

FALLBROOK – The Brandon Gallery has chosen a Fallbrook Art Association (FAA) art show to launch the North San Diego County artists co-operative’s 2010 schedule.

The FAA’s “Art Show, Featuring Officers and Chairs” will run in Brandon’s Etcetera Gallery through January 31. The exhibit will include water media, acrylic, oil and pastel paintings. Fiber art, 3D art and photography will also be on display.

On Sunday, January 10, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., FAA will host a reception at Brandon Gallery, 105 N. Main Avenue.

“We’ve set this show as a way to honor the fine work and efforts of volunteer members of the association who participate and organize the many activities we have throughout the year that advance Fallbrook as a destination community for art patrons,” said FAA chair Karen Langer Baker.

Among several FAA projects throughout the year are two annual juried shows at the Fallbrook Art Center, monthly demonstrations of new art by renowned artists and a series of scholarships to promising artists from local high schools.
