Village Bridal moves to the heart of downtown

FALLBROOK – Village Bridal Boutique, open in Fallbrook since May 2007, recently moved to the heart of historic downtown and is now located at 127 N. Main.

Owner Patricia Clevenger, with 30 years experience in bridal apparel, floral design and special events has lived in Fallbrook for over a decade. She opened the shop here to better serve Fallbrook’s multi-million dollar wedding industry. Clevenger said the move to central downtown was made “for better visibility, easier access and an opportunity to ‘go green.’”

The new location offers both florescent lighting and natural lighting, which, according to Clevenger, offers a great benefit to her customers.

“My clients can get a sense of how they look in both types of lighting,” she said. The move has been well-received and Clevenger has added two part-time assistants. “Business is picking up,” she explained. “It’s going to be a great year for us.”

The store stocks more than 160 wedding gowns, including those made by designer Pallas Athena. Wedding gowns start at $179. In addition to bridal gowns, the shop sells prom dresses, accessories, and rents tuxedos.

Clevenger said the most popular colors out for formals this Spring are various shades of blue and lavender.

Assisting individuals of all ages, shapes and sizes is what pleases Clevenger in her Fallbrook boutique.

“We’re affordable, caring and knowledgeable,” said Clevenger. “We invite visitors to come in during regular hours (Monday through Saturday), or make a Sunday or evening appointment. We can accommodate anyone’s budget, and our clients can try on as many dresses as they need to find their dream gown.”
