FALLBROOK – Fallbrook Women’s Connection, a local chapter of Stonecroft Ministries, is holding a huge “garage” type sale on Saturday, March 6, to raise money for Bibles, toys, promotion and supplies to fund its new Pray and Play ministry.
The fear, anxiety and loneliness of military wives and children can be traumatic while their husbands and fathers are fighting a war in far-away places. That is why Stonecroft Ministries launched the new program to support the emotional and spiritual needs of these young families.
Pray and Play is now a weekly event to bring young moms together to meet new friends, to grow in their faith and to develop a network of women who support one another. The program includes an organized play time for children, as well as free childcare during the meetings.
Gently used clothing, bedding, toys, books, furniture and other items will be sold from 7 to 11 a.m. at the Fallbrook Albertson’s parking lot.
For pick-up of donations, call (760) 723-8887 or (951) 506-0845.
