FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook PTSA has partnered with the Fallbrook Youth Prevention Group (FYPG), Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation, the Fallbrook Healthcare District, and the North Inland Community Prevention Program (NICPP) to host a free educational event for parents on underage drinking on Thursday, March 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Fallbrook High School cafeteria, 2400 South Stage Coach Lane.
Underage drinking has been identified as a problem in Fallbrook. Parents will be able to hear presentations from FYPG youth, prevention specialist Celeste Young with NICPP, Lt. Phil Brust with the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation and a representative from Fallbrook Union High School. The Fallbrook PTSA hopes to raise awareness about the tragic consequences that can result from underage drinking.
