FALLBROOK - On Friday, February 26, Live Oak Students had the opportunity to listen to several professionals talk about their careers and educational history on Career Day. Because Live Oak is an AVID school, (AVID stands for Advancing Via Individual Determination), students focus on being college ready.
There is no better way to prepare for college than being exposed to different careers and opportunities. Musicians, dentists, doctors, veterinarians, flight attendants, architects and several other community members took the time to educate the students at Live Oak.
Lillian. Perez and Stephenie Martinez, Live Oak administrators, are always looking for new volunteers, if anyone in the community is interested in sharing their exciting profession, they can email [email protected]. Career Day is held in February every year and the school loves to have community members share their profession or trade with the students.
