FALLBROOK–The Friends of the Fallbrook Library (FOFL) invites all eager readers to join them in the upcoming Book Talk on Thursday, March 25 at 2 p.m. The MasieDobbs series by author Jacqueline Winspear will be discussed.
There are several selections by Winspear in the Fallbrook Library to choose from. Leading the discussion will be Judy Dorrenbacher and Gloria Mattson, members of the FOFL. Even if those who haven’t read any of the books can come anyway and perhaps they’ll be inspired to do so. There will be refreshments served along with stimulating discussions.
Author Jacqueline Winspear will be the guest speaker at the seventh annual FOFL luncheon to be held April 22 at 11 a.m. at the Pala Mesa Resort, Cliff Terrace. This luncheon fundraiser for Fallbrook Library will cost $35 per person and tickets may be bought in advance from Peggy Kesterson, (760) 451-8686; the deadline is April 15.
So, do come and meet this fascinating author and enjoy a delicious luncheon. Flyers for the event and reservation forms are also available at the Fallbrook Library.
