Village Rotary hosts guest from Ecuador

FALLBROOK – On March 2, Fallbrook Village Rotary Club was honored to have an Ambassadorial Exchange Student, Lesseth Vega, present their program. She is from Ecuador, and is being sponsored by her District, #4400, which was founded in 1927.

Vega is in her junior year, and is studying English and French at UC San Marcos. When she goes back to Ecuador to attend the University of Cuenca, she will continue her studies for a Social Degree, and then start her Masters Program in International Law.

She shared slides of her country which includes everything from volcanoes to the ocean, ancient ruins, rivers, various animals, and the general flora and fauna. It is a beautiful country extending from the highest mountains to the ocean. She also showed slides of the various people of Ecuador and explained a little of her culture.
