A Thank you from Potter Chess Club

It is rare that one student wins both the yearly chess tournaments at Potter, but it has happened again. Potter Junior High just finished its Friendly February Chess Tournament. Nick Stead is our champion with 15 wins.

Last fall, in our November Turkey Tournament, Nick Stead was our winner also. First prize was a free turkey donated by Major Market. These two tournaments are held each year in my class at lunch. The kids love the excitement.

Thanks to all who have supported the Potter Chess Club for many years, Major Market, the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club, and the Fallbrook Woodcarvers Club.
