Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 17

SAN DIEGO COUNTY – San Diego County will hold its second Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 17, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at multiple locations throughout the county.

Residents are encouraged to clean out their medicine cabinets of any unused medications to ensure that they are not used inappropriately by another individual, especially children. When medications are dropped off, no questions will be asked, but prevention and treatment providers will be onsite to answer any questions the public might have.
