Hanlons celebrate 56th anniversary

FALLBROOK – Philip and Joan Hanlon celebrated 56 years of marriage on April 24, 2010. Residents of Fallbrook since 2006, the couple met through Joan’s brother and began dating in 1953. At the time Philip was living in Fresno and Joan in New York.

The couple began their new life in Visalia, Calif., starting their family a year later. In 1963, they moved their young family of five to Orange County and after their children were grown, married, and establishing their families, Philip and Joan decided to move closer to their children in San Diego County.
