Marilyn Luck

Marilyn Luck, longtime Fallbrook resident who was loved by everyone who knew her, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010.

At the time of her death, Marilyn and her husband, Don, had been married 59 years. Don always felt strongly that she was his best friend.

Marilyn was born April 15, 1931 in Huntington Park, Calif. to William and Mildred Swinney.

She is survived by husband Don; daughters Melinda MacFarland and Margie Luck; son John Luck; brother, Steven Swinney; four grandchildren; and two nieces.

Marilyn was very active in St. John’s Episcopal Church, where she and Don were members for many years. She volunteered in the hospital auxiliaries at Fallbrook Hospital for many years and in Las Vegas at Southern Hills Hospital for a shorter period of time.

The memorial service for Marilyn was held at Grace in the Desert Episcopal Church on Saturday, May 1.
