FALLBROOK – Some Ivy High School students recently enjoyed a lunch catered by The Olive Garden for raising money for Leukemia research. The 26 teens in Kelly Walker’s first period English class raised the most money and were rewarded with the lunch on April 27 in the library.
The school raised over $355 from students bringing in their spare change to their first period class for a period of three weeks. The program is put on by the Leukemia Society in conjunction with The Olive Garden and is called “Pennies 4 Pasta.”...
